Supporting Quality in Shipbuilding

The Ship Structure Committee, the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, and the American Society of Naval Engineers cosponsored this symposium, the ninth in a triennial series. The aim of this symposium is to bring together members of the international marine industry such as ship owners, operators, builders, researchers, and representatives of the government and classification society bodies to discuss the ship structures for the new millennium.


The papers presented at the 2000 SSC Symposium highlight some recent SSC research along with other topics that are of great interest to the SSC.
