Mean Stress Assessment in Fatigue Analysis and Design
Overview:
A description of the project's background, objective, scope, expectations and deliverables.
The goal of SSC SR-1458 is to is to review the available data on the subject, to plan and carry out experiments on a structural steel, to analyze the results and to develop methodology of assessment of the mean stress effects in fatigue analyses for marine applications.
Forum:
An online bulletin board (forum) with four pre-set threads to discuss the Statement of Work, Kick-off Meeting, Interim Reporting, and Final Reporting is available for the PTC members to use to conversate, review deliverables, comment and suggest changes. The forum is moderated by the project chair. Access to comment on and edit documents in the forum is restricted to PTC members however members of the public are welcome to view all postings.
