The SSC mission is to enhance the safety of life at sea, promote technology and education advancements in marine
transportation, and to protect the marine environment. This will be done through advocating,
participating in, and supporting cooperative research and development in Structural Design,
Life Cycle Risk Management of Marine Structures, and Production Technologies.

The Ship Structure Committee is soliciting papers for presentation at the SSC 2011 Symposium to be held in conjunction with National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) International March 2011 Corrosion Symposium, .Corrosion 2011..[NEW]
NACE is the largest professional association dedicated to protecting people, assets, and the environment from the impact of corrosion. The association offers technical training and certification programs, sponsors conferences, and produces industry standards, reports, publications, and software to prevent and mitigate corrosion.
Presentations are invited for the following tracks:
- Corrosion Control
- Ballast Water
- Void Coatings
- Goal Based Standards
- Anti-Fouling Coatings
